NYAH MAYS
Welcome To Nyah Mays' Portfolio
Welcome to My Portfolio, I'm Nyah Mays & I am a sneaker aficianado. I take great pride and passion in my collection as well as my growing ability to repair and redesign sneakers.
Since the 6th grade and a pair of Nike Air Max 95 in Neon Yellow, I've been hooked to sneakers and footwear. I am currently working on many different shoes. I have some work displayed here on my portfolio that has been completed and some works in progress
I have an insatiable desire to learn and increase my abilities. I will have my own sneaker for children some day. In the mean time, I am learning the ins and outs of shoes by taking them apart and putting them back together.
1999-2016 Transformation

These Air Jordan Bred 4 should make you want to party like it's 1999.

1999 was when these shoes were released. Nike had not yet discovered the durability of phylon. This causes the soles over time begin to crumble and deriorate

Deoxidized the outter to give it a brand new look. Using Volume 40 Hair Product & Oxy Clean!

Midsole primed & ready for black paint.

They've been cut open and pretty much had surgery performed on them.

The upper was redyed but needs to be dyed again after being beat up from gluing & sewing

The Outter sole was sewed on to the upper using a sewing awl

The" Nike Air" and Check on the back of the shoe shows it's age and worth. Jordan is bringing that back on some Recent Retro Releases.

I've got on a pair of 2012 Air Jordan 4 "Bred" & the 1999 Air Jordan 4 "Bred" are photographed with the upper glued to the midsole. The Nike Tag was a special request to add flare and Age for the client
